Colin Carruthers | Gerald Green | David Walsh
The Wykeham Gallery, 7th May – 22nd May 2021

In May 2021, Colin participated in a Three Person Show at the Wykeham Gallery, where he exhibited a new series of seascape and landscape paintings, created following his travels to Provence, The Riviera and the UK.

One of the paintings on show was a landscape painting depicting a view towards Lourmarin. Listed as one of ‘Les Plus Beaux villages de France’, the 1,000 year old village of Lourmarin is a very pretty town with fountain-lined streets that thread their way around the village. Lourmarin nestles in the middle of vineyards, olive groves and almond trees in the heart of Provence and the winding road that leads from Bonnieux towards the town, takes you along the bends of a valley lined with wonderful oak trees.

Despite there being lock-down conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most of Colin’s paintings on show at the exhibition sold and featured below, are some of the ones that sold.
